Renee born Deanna Renee Mitchell, is a native of Cameron, NC. Renee describes her voice as smooth and angelic. 

Renee grew up in a military household, and she stated that each member of her family has such a different taste in music. Her father always plays Funk, NeoSoul and Jazz, while her mother listened to 80's Pop/Rock, R&B, Reggae, and Gospel. Her sister often played Techno and Heavy Metal Rock. Renee herself was the one that decided to embrace Hip Hop. When she was about 12 she learned how to play the clarinet and read music. A couple years later, she picked up the saxophone and started teaching herself how to play. She plans to learn to play piano and drum in the future.
