Hmmmm honestly.......Travel and Promote in diffrent areas I've never been...so I can get my network poppin
What made you want to become a musician? Where did you get your start in the industry?
Well it was actually a lot of things that occured in my life that mademe the person and artist I am today......battles, underground shows and people such as Rob.G, The Choppaholix and a few dj clicks help me getmy movement rollin.
What is your music background?
Well we all started on diffrent levels.....Rob.G and myself were veryinvolved in the undergroun battle circuit...then from their he built ateam called "Swat Product" who are various artist he believed in andwanted 2 make part of his team. Our Team consist of Artist such asv-zilla who is a Legend in the underground ciruit...you should googlethat dude...myself....dolemic "the kickdo king" na mean.......fame$ity"Mr. Texas made" and of Course Rob.
Who are your influences? Who were some of your inspirations growing up?
Actually when I started gettin into music and actually listening andstudien the art.....around my area groups like wreckshop, swishahouse,do or die and kats like that was poppin..so a lot of the music I jammedwas that. I payed attention to other nationwide music...but since Iwas younger that was all we knew....artist such as Jada, E-40, 8 ball,and dj screw definetly had a major impact on the way I wanted 2deliever my music and make it relevant to me and my market.
What do you consider to be your greatest asset to this music industry?
Well in my opinion.....I actually feel the music I make can helpmyself, my family, and inspire a lot of people, no matter what marketit is. I never make music just to make a song or try n make a hit 2 getsome green. I make sure to never step outside of my box n say somethinI kno isn't me and I think a lot people respect me for that..and thesound I create.
What do you feel you have to bring to the music world?
I'm my personal opinion I think the music I create it for everyone. Idon't try n set a standard for what I think my music is or should be. Ilike 2 always create and build on my craft; the final product is what uhear and get.
Are you looking for an independent label deal or a major label deal?
Honestly
At this current moment I believe in the indi type label......I'm notknocking any label deals or things of that nature. I'm just from astate where we can be good in the indi market by pushing the sameamount of units that a major would, we can also have creative controland do a lot the promotional networking ourselfs. And I'm with that.

How do you feel about the competition out there right now?
Tome, there's always good competition in music. A lot of peopleunderstand and won't understand transitions certain artist go thru, butthen again ur not that person ..so its up 2 deciede if u feel it or not
Right now I know a lot of people think the hiphop scene right now iswhack....but I don't think so. I think a lot of artist are happy withwhat their doin....livin their dream and appreciatin the oppurtunityand freedom of creatin whatever they want. I mean they are gonna havehaters but then again who doesn't.
What personality to you want to display to fans through your music?
Everyday life. The realness of the world. The good, the bad, the evil.We all go thru it...I just express my feelings with music. I want 2make a song cuz I got paid, or cuz I'm feelin good, or goin thru someshit...na mean
If you had to say one of each what would be your strength in music, and what would be your weakness?
In my opinion my strength in music is learning, developing and craftingmy style into what I believe it should be. I don't really think I got aweakness but I think I could practice on studien diffrent ways 2 putand arrange music .
What would you say is your hottest song right now?
Actually my hottes song right now is a club record called "Don't StopNow" featuring Chris Stylez. It was Produced by The Branchboiz and itgettin crazy radio play in my city and other parts of the country. Itshould be a good look.
Describe your fan base. Who is your music meant for?
Right now I would say I still got a underground fan base, people knowme from battlin or radio rmx's and shit, but others know me for mymixtape series and various features. I make music for myself and anyonewho has been thru somethin. I'm not any diffrent from u, I'm justspeakin my mind n enjoyin myself
Who would you most compare your style to?
I'm not really sure who I sound like, I guess its watever ur mind tells u....ahahah good question.
Who did you learn from the most?
Man, a lot of people .....my personal homies. Rob.g, the whole swatproduct, dj ebonix, crisco kidd, the choppaholix...my big homie tgrey.They all helped me in a major way, and I appreciate that
Who has helped you the most as an artist?
Hahhahah all those people I just named and more. Anyone in Texas. Htown stand up.
Do you write your own songs?
Always. That's why I make music
What are your songs about?
Inmy eyes the style of music I make is Mainly underground parkin lotmusic. But I like 2 make various joints cuz I'm opened 2 make any typeof music. Its music u gotta enjoy the shit.
How do you describe your music to people?
Its the future. The New-Hou. Leadin the new South. Somethin u can jam n enjoy.
What are your long-term career goals?
To build a solid Empire in music and other buisnesses. I think everyoneshould want 2 be successful in anything they wanna do ...na mean. Imabe makin music for a minute, even if its behind the scenes or helpinthe hiphop movment stay alive. I'm gonna try n be apart of that nomatter what.
How would you define the word "success"?
Depends. In my eyes its reachin the point in your life where fame,cameras, and magazines don't matter. You are satisifed in life andenjoyin your shit.
Have you had any radio play?
I'vehad a few songs on the radio, they were on for a lil while...I got 1 onthe radio right now as we speak. You can catch it in Houston, Alberque,syracuse, and spots like that
What were you doing when you first heard your single on the radio?
Drivin home from work. It was throwd. A really good feeling.
How long did you, or have you been working on your album?
At this current moment I haven't released an album, I've been releasingmixtapes every few months and tryin to keep my music as relevent aspossible
What's the title of the album or what is it gonna be?
So far, I got a cd out called "Maverick Music 2 : The Garza Effect" its my first original release. I am planning on droppin an album early 09.
Do you have a demo or press kit, or any other promotional materials?

Man, I'm just a young hustler tryna get it. I been rappin for a lilminute, my underground buzz has been good for a while I just beenkickin makin records. Swat product and Choppaholix put me down alongtime ago and ever since thne I been grindin and workin daily.
What type of music do you listen to? Who is on your iPod right now other than yourself?
I listen 2 everything but country. Nothin wrong with country, its justreally not for me . Anything else thoo....coooooo !
