For the first time in a long time we have something to talk about in hip hop! It sounds like artists are starting to become as fed up with the direction hip hop is going in as we the fans are! Jay-Z has issued a death warrant to AUTO-TUNE, and for good reason! T-Pain came out and made that style his own! Then all of a sudden we were attacked by everybody trying to take advantage of it!That was not a good idea! Hip Hop is suffering due to lack of originality! "There's nothing new under the sun", is a true proverb, but that doesn't mean recycle the same stuff! Artists are using their names as their selling tool instead of their talent! Thats where my main problem lies! Artists are going in the studio and not really putting work in! They see someone is selling and they jock their style and go home! What happened to the 2pac's and the Biggie's, the Nas's and the Jay-Z's! They spend time perfecting their craft! They spend time in the studio! Listening to their songs, tweaking their songs, making their songs worthy to be heard! Jay-Z is doing what he has been doing for a long time! Bringing real HIP HOP back to the forefront! He's making a plea to his fellow music artists, who better to do it! Who else will HIP HOP listen to!!!
